Here we go with some more essential vacation places around the world, from the obscure, to the famous, and then to the curious. We start with the road less travelled with Ukraine, and more specifically, the Crimea, a fascinating region to rent a vacation home in and then explore. During history it has attracted settlers from Greece, Venice and Genoa, all of whom founded cities and inter-married there, resulting in a rich tapestry of tradition and customs. It is a region famous as a vacation place, due to its mineral waters and wines, and is one of the largest health resorts of the former Soviet Union. The best time to rent out a vacation house here is in September or October when there are fewer crowds, but the high season starts in April and goes through until autumn. Next up we have India, a vast, diverse country - full of mountains, beaches, nature, deserts, temples, and history - which has so many different attractions and vacation places that it would be impossible to even just list them all here, but if you are only going to go to one place, then try the Taj Majal, one of the man-made wonders of the world. The ‘Crown Of Palaces’, a white marbled mausoleum located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, it was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife and is universally admired as the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines Persian, Ottoman, and Indian styles. Finally, try taking finding a vacation home for rent in Buenos Aires, the so-called Paris of South America. The city is a work of contrasts with its European sensibilities and Latin American passion, resulting in a juxtaposition occurring in every aspect; wide boulevards and narrow cobblestone alleys, steamy tango and thumping rock and roll, frenetic downtown working-class neighbourhoods full of soccer fanatics and kids rummaging around the garbage, to wealthy districts full of ex-pats and bejeweled ladies in fur coats and all the luxuries one can imagine. And if you like beef steak, then you absolutely have to take at least one holiday here, as this is the staple ingredient of every restaurant and roadside food vendor that can be found here. One bit of advice - when renting a vacation house, I suggest you find one with a barbeque in the garden.
