Credibility. Such a simply concept, yet it can be a cause of countless headaches and sleepless nights for many entrepreneurs in the United Kingdom. This is certainly one factor that can make or break your sales lead generation campaign. It is hard already to generate qualified B2B leads, but if your credibility with business prospects is low, then you have very little chance to succeed in your campaign. You have to build up your reputation, and nurture the trust of prospects (as well as current customers) to your business. The good news here is that there are several ways to do it. You just need to follow these tips carefully. And here they go: - 1.Be real – these days, it is so easy (and common) for us to hype about ourselves and the business we represent. Unfortunately, this is something that can damage our reputation. If keep telling our prospects about things that we claim to do, but are not capable of delivering, then we destroy our credibility. So be genuine, be honest about what you can or cannot do.
- 2.Know the real value of your offer – when you truly understand the value of your product or service, you are no longer afraid to speak out about it. You will find no trouble describing the strengths and limitations of your offer, while at the same time guiding your prospects towards what they desire the most.
- 3.Bring new insights about their company – especially if you base it from research and analysis. Often, the reason why we have a hard time generating more sales leads is because we fail to add anything of value to the prospects. If you can make the prospects believe that you are an authority in the industry, them higher the likelihood that they will do business with you.
- 4.Listen and respond appropriately – this is very useful during a telemarketing campaign, since our only connection with prospects is through the phone. Now, nothing can destroy your credibilyt faster than by answering questions before they are even asked. It creates the impression that you are insecure and you are not really sincere about your offer to help them.
- 5.Do not use a sales pitch – if there is anything that business prospects hate, it is hearing someone using a sales pitch of them. That will instantly breed distrust. Instead, focus your talk on how your offer can help their business grow. Clearly describe what you can do for them. This will help you in your appointment setting process.
- 6.Be a catalyst for business – one way to help grow your credibility is by acting as the catalyst of growth for your clients. As their business grows, so does the size of their markets. The more customers they have, the higher the demand for their services. And since they need your business to support their operation, it would mean a big deal for you.
Growing your lead generation credibility in the United Kingdom is not that hard. Just follow these tips and you will be all right.
