Ping’s take on “straighter” comes with a redistribution of weight that intends to increase club face stability on mishits and ping drivers are known to promote faster ball speed across the clubface. PING has added the K15 to the range to offer a product with even more forgiveness than the G15 range. In the Ping K15 Driver, they have pushed 10% of the mass of the head into the heel to help straighten wayward flights. The large surface area of the face has been designed to maximise forgiveness. The Ping K15 Driver comes in with a 460cc head with a club face that is meant to have a larger sweet spot and better miss hits from the toe and from the heel. The design of this Ping K15 Driver puts the center of gravity lower and further back, which will help to reduce spin and allow for a higher launch angle. This means you will not have to worry about the slice or hook as much and you can maximize your distance off the tee. "Straight Flight Technology" positions 10 percent of the Ping K15 Driver head's mass toward the heel, promoting more face rotation and a straighter ball flight. The clubface is longer toe to heel than the G15 to increase ball speed (and forgiveness) on off-center hits. The Ping K15 Driver is definitely not a one size fits all players, but for the guy it does fit, it could prove to be an absolute game changer. Fortunately, the G15 and I15 are also part of PING’s current driver lineup. If the Ping K15 Driver doesn’t suite you, there’s a good chance one of those will. © http://winnergolfgear.com/ .
