The study was supported by the district key project (prior subject)of Zhejiang province. After 3 years’ research and development, researchers has brought forward two finger-print manufacturing technologies, that is, the HPLC and near-infrared technology. Besides, technologies for identifying the producing area, the breed tracing, the longjing tea mark recognition have also come out, with the accuracy rate reaching 96.8% and 83.5% respectively. Meanwhile, the reaction of the “eographical demarkation management information system of identifying and tracing the producing areas Dragon Well tea” by users is very good and the social benefits it brings is obvious. It can serve as a powerful technological support for the identification and tracking to the source for longjing. Now the key technology of the project has received two national patents of invention. A few days ago, the research on “Geographical demarkation management information system of identifying and tracing the producing area of dragon well tea ” developed by the researcher, Cheng Hao, director of Tea Bush Resource and Improvement Research Center of the TRI under the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, successfully passed the provincial inspection in Zhejiang.
