The top of the line model of ballistic inserts includes the Seraph line which is the lightest weight and most flexible inserts they offer in Level II and IIIA. The thinness/weight is .21/.82 lbs/ft for Level II and .28/1.12 lbs/ft for Level IIIA. When this vest is coupled with their top of the line Revolution carrier, we have even had officers tell us it's like wearing a sweat shirt because of the extreme level of comfort achieved. The Revolution carrier has their trademarked Breeze Knit moisture wicking and anti microbial inner lining and Breathe-O-Prene padded shoulders for comfort and weight disbursement. In addition the cover also comes with pockets for 5" x 8" or 7" x 10" trauma plates. The other offering of insert include the following (in order of performance); Halo Ballistic System, Quantum Ballistic System, Gemini (dual purpose offering both spike and ballistic protection) and then the Taurus line which is strictly correctional body armor providing spike protection only. All inserts can be coupled with Revolution, Evolution or Equinox which are all the traditional types of concealable carriers. The other options include their Lo-Pro model which is essentially a special made sleeveless T-shirt carrier, their outer dress uniform shirt carrier OR their Q.C.S. which is their outer quilted model. The last option for the ala carte package includes choosing either a hard or soft trauma plate. Armor Express has 2 kinds of hard plates which are their ARA-shock plate or T-shock plate. Soft trauma plates include their soft trauma pac OR enhancement pac. In addition to concealable body armor, Armor express also manufacturers a complete line of military and tactical body armor and other police equipment which includes Ballistic shields, tactical helmets and combat helmets, knee and elbow pads as well as ballistic blankets, seats and even IED shoe inserts.
