A number of mobile development companies are nowadays launching a contest inviting entries from developers for the best iPhone or Android Applications created by them. In this article, guidelines are provided to launch a Mobile Application contest for various types of Mobile Applications, which will make it easy for mobile apps development companies to follow and implement the same in their companies. The contest will be thrown open to public and anyone can participate in this contest by developing mobile applications with iOS or Android operating system. In this regard, eligibility, Terms & Conditions, Categories and Prizes for the contest, which is conducted in various phases, is discussed in detail. Eligibility for the contest: This mobile application contest is valid only to those Mobile Apps released recently or within the specified date. All the entries pertaining to Mobile Apps released before such dates will be summarily rejected. Those who had already applied in response to the earlier contest need not apply again. Only fresh entries will be accepted. The mobile apps which are not open for public in the App Store or Android Market are not eligible. This contest is not for mobile applications released prior to the date specified above. The applications which got an entry to the previous contests will not get an entry into the contest, regardless of the fact, whether they did not win earlier contest or won the contest. Terms & Conditions: All applications submitted in response to this contest must run on must use the current iOS/Android operating system. All the applications submitted for this contest should be in English and applications in other languages will not be entertained. First Phase The developers have to submit their applications among the categories of the contest which will commence Second Phase The original users of Android or iPhone handset are allowed to download the applications submitted for the contest. The users will randomly receive the applications randomly submitted for the contest. The users will be ranked on the basis of selection of the top 20 applications in each category. They will be eligible to proceed to the next level of the contest, as per the users ranking. Third Phase In the second round of the contest, as like in the first round, the users can download the applications mentioning their respective rank obtained in the appropriate category, and give their ranking for applications chosen in each category. Every vote of the users is assigned weights for judging the winner. The mobile development team will evaluate each application in all categories, which were selected chosen in the first round of the contest. As per the team's judgment, is assigned the remaining 60% weights for selection of the winner of the contest. On this basis of the selection of the user and team's assessment, the contest will declare the winner.
