The equipment allocation and process flow of sand production line can be chosen in accordance with different requirements. In general, the equipment of sand production line mainly consist of: Vibrating feeder, jaw crusher, impact crusher, vibrating screen, sand-making machine which can be divided into sand maker and rod-mill sand-making machine, sand washer, belt conveyor and other sand-making equipment.
Working process: Raw materials in big size go through hopper, and are sent to jaw crusher evenly by vibrating feeder for primary crushing. The crushed materials are sent to cone crusher (or impact crusher) by belt conveyor for secondary crushing, and then the crushed materials are sent to vibrating screen by belt conveyor for screening. The final sand (the final products below the bottom sieve) is sent to sand washer to clean, and then to the final products pile. The bigger pieces stones (stones on the top sieve) will be sent to vertical impact crusher (sand maker) for fine crushing, and then to vibrating screen again for screening. This forms closed and continuously automatic cycles.
The processing plant is located in the immediate vicinity of the natural deposit of material to minimize the costs of transportation. If the plant is located next to a sand dune or beach, the plant may process only sand. If it is located next to a riverbed, it will usually process both sand and gravel because the two materials are often intermixed. Most plants are stationary and may operate in the same location for decades. Some plants are mobile and can be broken into separate components to be towed to the quarry site. Mobile plants are used for remote construction projects, where there are not any stationary plants nearby.
