You can save around £30 a year by making a small modification to your heating system. 5) Double-glazing The first step involves closing your curtains at dusk to stop heat escaping through windows. If you want to minimize heat loss by 50% and reduce your heating bill by up to £40 a year, you need to double-glaze all windows. Before searching for a new gas provider or any other utility for that purpose, always look over recent bills. It is imperative to monitor how much energy your computer consumes in a month and discuss with others how it can be saved.
