However, the BYDelectric bus can be charged at night and with a range of over250-300 Km per charge ( 180 miles ), they can provide serviceall day without needing another charge.
This project supports Friesland province's stated goal to be fullyindependent of fossil fuels. They have identified that over a thirdof CO2 emissions in the province are the result of traffic andtransportation pollution; therefore, they have chosen to electrifypublic transportation.
