Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has announced recruitment examinations for different vacancies across various government departments and ministries of the state. The centers for UPPSC recruitment examination are Allahabad and Lucknow. Although the recruitment test is held for different government service positions in the state of Uttar Pradesh, it is approved by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Off late, other state Public Service Commissions like RPSC and Bihar Public Service Commission have also declared their respective recruitment examination dates, in addition to application process, examination pattern, and other important information. UPPSC is currently inviting applications for recruitment in the post of Civil Judges –Junior Division for 76 vacancies across the state. The age limit for the candidates, as specified by UPSC, is within 22-35 years as on 1st July 2012. The candidate should also have a degree in Law from any recognized UP university or other institutions in India. The OMR application form for applying for this examination is available for a fee of Rs.155 for General and OBC category, and Rs.95 for SC/ST applicants of Uttar Pradesh. The application form is available in respective post offices mentioned in recruitment advertisement. No other mode of application is entertained here. Duly filled up application forms need to be enclosed in an envelope, superscribed with the name of examination, and addressed to “Secretary, Advt. No. A-2/E-1/2012, Public Service Commission, U.P., Allahabad – 211018.” All applications must reach the office latest by 1st March 2012, 5.00 pm. The examination date is stipulated to be 13th May 2012. 100 vacancies for different government service vacancies have been declared, with the last date of receiving application for UP Combined Upper Subordinate Services Examination 2012 to be 24th February 2012. Selection process includes Prelims, Mains, and Interview with an examination fee of Rs.230 for General category, and Rs.110 for SC/ST in UP. The application form fee is similar as mentioned above. However, the examination fee is payable at the time of main written examination only. The age limit for the candidates have been prescribed as 21-35 years as on 1st July 2012.
