Attending an online Bible college is the ideal career choice for working adults, thanks in large part to the flexibility it provides. Students receive a fully accredited degree in an environment that is conducive to most work schedules. Instead of scheduling work around a class schedule, work can be done from home in the evenings or whenever is convenient. Upon completion of your online Bible college program, you'll be on track for a variety of career options that require the special training you have received. Church Pastor Nearly all church pastors have some kind of formal Bible education, and a degree from an online Bible university is every bit as viable as those obtained through traditional classroom learning. Pastors are responsible for Bible instruction to their congregation as well as discipleship programs in both small groups and one-on-one settings. Youth Leader Much like a Pastor, the church youth leader is responsible for Bible instruction and discipleship but with a focus on youth and their families. They lead youth Bible studies and coordinate group events when appropriate. Christian Educator Private Christian schools use the Bible as a key component of their curriculum, and a formal education in scripture is often required to teach at these institutions. Whether your desire is to teach in a classroom or perform administrative duties, your online degree will help you in your career path. Missionary Whether locally or oversea, missionary members share the primary goal of spreading the teachings of the Bible. It stands to reason that knowledge of the Bible is paramount in this field. This career path may also require specialized language training depending on where you plan to be. Christian Counselor In the same way counselors, psychologists and psychiatrists attempt to help people identify their problems and provide ways to overcome difficulties, a Christian counselor performs these duties with a Biblical perspective. In conjunction with a degree in psychology or a similar field, anyone wishing to enter this profession needs a strong grasp on the Bible and its teachings. Whether you want to further your education or simply supplement for career diversity, a degree from an online Bible college is a great way to get the instruction and training you need without leaving your home.
