"Paris is always a good idea" Although this statement is true at all times of the year, it is especially true when it comes to the holiday season. Every fall, Christmas travel specials frequent our tv's, smartphones and computers.. And every fall, we always pass up on some of the best opportunities. Don't sleep on any trips going to Paris this winter! As the Paris leaves have all fallen and are replaced with string of twinkling bulbs, the City of Lights begins to take on an entirely new look, ambiance and feeling of the Christmas cheer all are in search of when December comes around. If you have yet to experience Christmas in Paris but are planning your first-ever time to do so, be sure not to miss out on these spectacularly fantastic holiday outings, sights and activities while there... Marvel at the Lights Though this may seem obvious to most, there is a rather immense difference when it comes to simply noticing the lights than truly standing in awe and marvel of them. So, put on your mittens, hats and warmest coat you brought along and proceed to wander about the city stopping at any building, tree or bridge that catches your attention. Behold the Christmas travel specials and enjoy the true holiday feeling of Paris, starting your trip off in just the right way. Go Ice Skating No Christmas in Paris would ever be complete without at least one ice skating session spent at the many temporary and enchanting rinks scattered throughout the city. Though the locations tend to vary each coming year, the most likely places to head towards would be near the Paris City Hall or just near Montparnasse. Most Christmas travel deals won't advertise this, but just get ready to slip, zip and glide your way around the ice skating rink. It will make this holiday season one you will never forget and always cherish. Discover the Many Markets As you may already know, Europe in and of itself is world famous for its many magical Christmas markets that take place typically from the beginning of December right up until the actual day. Packed full of delicious holiday treats, handmade ornaments and beautiful decorations make the Christmas markets one of the best things to do while spending the holiday there. The best ones are located on the Champs-Elysees and at the Place Saint-Germain-des-Pres under the Grand Arch in La Defense, making this a highlight of all Christmas travel deals. Attend a Christmas Eve Service No matter if you are religious or not, attending a Christmas Eve service in Paris at one of the local cathedrals or churches is nothing short of a spectacular way to spend your holiday evening. Lasting no more than a couple hours, you will find yourself surrounded by people from all over the world gathering together to celebrate, commemorate and simply enjoy a lasting Christmas Eve tradition. If you are concerned about the language, don't be as many and most of the churches in Paris offer English-language services to ensure you not being completely lost throughout the entire message. Most Christmas travel deals do not include this, but this is simply just another way to experience what it is truly like to spend Christmas in the beautiful, charming and enchanting city of Paris, France. Paris, or the "City of Lights", is one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in the world. So much charm throughout the artwork, architecture and rich history, you can be sure that this will always be mentioned in any of those Christmas travel deals you encounter in the fall months.
