In the summer of 1881, Renoir painted Luncheon of the Boating Party. From the Renoir painting we could see the portrait of Renoir's wife Arina Sarigo. She was painted in the foreground, playing with a dog. The witty woman, good wine, beautiful scenery, elegant game and interesting talk (one of the main attraction of Paris life) made Renoir immersed in the atmosphere of "Moulin Rouge street dance" which originally encouraged him.
