Experience the double delight with the two faced Samsung F300. The handset is an intelligent combination between a standard mobile and mp3 player. While one side is reserved for the conventional mobile experience, the other side is designed on the lines of iPod Nano. A good blend of aesthetic sense and engineering, the Samsung F300 is sure to stay for long. Despite the addition of screens on both the side, the handset comes is a fairly slim package. It's around the same thickness as a standard CD case. On the 'phone' side of the mobile, the screen is a little small and so is the keypad. Nonetheless the keys make comfortable typing so one does not need to worry on that part. But the same cannot be said about the screen, for the screen only allows some 3 lines of text to be seen. For viewing more details like web page etc, one has to flip to another side of the screen. And this flipping might prove a little irritating. The other screen is not only bright and sharp, but it also makes colours look great. Underneath this is the touch-sensitive pad for navigating through the music menus. One more area of concern is the Menu system. It is a mess and some of the entries are just badly labelled. The pictures, music and videos of Samsung F300 can be transferred between the phone and a PC via USB. When working on USB the phone can actually operate in two modes. In the Media Transfer mode you can use Windows Media Player to sync tracks; while in PC Studio mode, you can take advantage of the easy-to-use PC software. And otherwise you always have the advantage of Bluetooth. Other highlights of Samsung F300 includes 2 MP camera, Tri-band, GPRS, EDGE and host of PIM functionalities.
