Take your AP classes seriously. It does determine if you are deserving to get a college credit. Gives your AP English more attention than other subject. AP higher grades might help the students to admit easily in college ( depending on your chosen school). Some schools allotted the huge part of their requirements to the subject that has got something to do with English 101 and Math. Study in advance. Advance studying will make your lessons less stressful. I'll assure you that you will find your class easy. Do not procrastinate. Manage the time for studying, time for reading, and time for your extra-curricular activities. Don't want to end up cramming as well as regretting things in the end. More knowledge is the best weapon and armor in battling the sophomore hard times and woes. Read as much as possible. If I were you I will read books (course-related or not) as much as possible. When you get used to it and started it as your everyday hobby, you will soon wish to have more hours in the day for you to sit and read. You will realize how important reading is. Suddenly it will give a reason to study more and be creative. Volunteer and get involved in clubs. Volunteer in the school organization projects is a huge help to boost your application in college. Get involved in the club is a tough task. You need to balance your time and activities. Take this piece of advice, ask yourself if you have the true interest in getting into the clubs. Don't be a member for the sake of your college application, be a member because that's what you really want. Don't forget to have some fun. You are not just studying to shoulder all the stress in the school. Take some time to have fun and free to do the things you want to do just like an ordinary teenager.
