Gordon Ramsay is the sensation of cable and prime time cooking. He has several cookery shows like Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, Ramsay’s Best Restaurant, Hell’s Kitchen and F Word and the list goes on. Besides a TV presenter he is a chef and restaurateur. He is one of the world’s best chefs, inspired by his passion. All the worldwide fans of Gordon Ramsay would love to know more about him:- Gordon Ramsay was born in John stone, Renfrew Shire, Scotland in 1966. He was then brought up in Stratford- Upon- Avon. He used to play football when he was a teen. But due to severe injuries he left playing football. Till then he already started taking interest in cooking. After he finished his schools he worked at various places and his experience took him to the French Alps and later he worked as a personal chef on the private Yacht named ‘Idle wild’ based in Bermuda. After returning back to London, he became business partner of one of his mentor’s, gaining a share in his business along with a position of head chef. In the year 1998 Gordon started his own restaurant named ‘Restaurant Gordon Ramsay ’. His restaurant was voted as top restaurant in UK in the year 2001. He then established his cooking empire with several restaurants. Later he expanded his business outside of the UK. He won Zagat Guide award for his restaurant ‘Gordon Ramsay’ in London. He then achieved many awards including Michelin Stars, Catey Awards and Independent Restaurateur of the year award. In 2004, his career took a leap and he entered in the world of television through his show’s Hell’s Kitchen and Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares on British television. In the show Hell’s Kitchen the competitor’s has to go through difficult process of learning to run a kitchen. In Kitchen Nightmares Ramsay’s help the restaurant which was about to fold to cope up with their problems. Both of his shows were successful. Later other shows have developed like Master Chef, The F Word and many more. The list includes Gordon’s visit to India in Gordon’s Great Escape. He went on getting success and continuing doing shows. He then started guest appearances in TV shows like Top Gear, Big Brother and American Idol. He was the favorite of TV industry due to his personality.
