Creativity is the tendency of developing or spotting ideas, alternatives and the possibilities that can be used to solve a problem. So often words paint the pictures of our lives and well chosen words with well measured emotions can move us to new heights. Whether it is speaking, writing, coming up with ideas; creativity is such a vital part in not only thinking about what to do but the best manner to do something. The world is full of ideas that if tapped into and pondered over can make our lives so much more exciting and meaningful. But only a few people ever think through most things in life. In the majority of instances the ability to develop that creative part of their thinking faculty causes them to rather let things slide and hope that they will work out anyway. Let’s approach a story that bears telling and repeating, taking note of one way to tell it and then a second way. The first way to convey information to anyone is through the use of words. Grammar, word choice, structure and a flow of emotions loaded into our message can well translate into action and motivation to those who receive the message. However, how many of us actually understand the second manner of conveying any form of info. That when words are not enough, we then turn into images and symbols to tell the story. Is it not said, that … “a picture is worth a thousand words.” Take roads for example, the only time a road map uses letters is when it is naming a place or a road. There are something’s that will never change, but signs or better because even a illiterate person can READ it. It is not to say that pictures and symbols make up entirely for words and pictures, but rather they are able to translate or express in no uncertain terms what words could not achieve. Graphs, pie charts, bars drawings are all creative ad visuals that stem from creativity. What all this means is that we need to send creativity to school and have it educated. For the most part it needs to be enlightened if we are to really experience its full value in our lives and in the lives of others we come into contact with. There just is no substitute to it whether now or whenever. Creativity can be learned and manifested in all areas of our lives, be it school, business, to increase sales, motivate staff, negotiation and even in normal day-by-day activities.
