I am sure that most everyone is familiar with ebooks. They are books that are written to be downloaded through the Internet. Ebooks can be of almost any length. Most of them consist of 10 to 150 pages and can sell for up to several hundred dollars. Many writers are making fortunes selling ebooks. When an ebook consists of just 5 to 15 pages, it is usually considered a mini ebook. Although not quite as profitable, these too can be sold through your website or blog. The advantage of a mini ebook is the short time it takes to write it. A decent writer can put together a mini ebook in an hour or two. Most mini ebooks sell in the range of $3.95 to $6.95. Not bad for a couple of hours of work. Many people give away their ebooks. I have some that I use as free give-away items and some that I sell. In most cases, mini ebooks sell very well. They have the highest conversion rate among everything that I sell. The conversion rate for my mini ebooks is in the area of 14%. That means that for every 100 people that visit my mini ebook sales pages, 14 of them will make a purchase. That is a phenomenally high conversion rate. Most sales pages on the Internet convert at an average of about 1%. That means that 1 out of every hundred visitors will make a purchase. My mini ebooks sell at about 14 times that rate. All things considered, my mini ebooks represent a nice little profit center. Most mini ebooks are the equivalent of three to seven 500-word articles. If you write articles, write a few that are closely related and assemble them into a mini ebook.
