Gujarat Technological University has announced GCET or the Gujarat Common Entrance Test on May 22, 2012. The application process of the exam started from June 1, 2012. The last Date to apply for GCET is 11 June, 2012. Application process: Get the bulletin from the selected branches of Punjab National Bank and submit the application form online. After the submission of application form you have to submit your documents and confirm your registration at the help centers of GTU. Last date to complete the application process is 11 June, 2012. Exam Dates: GCET exam will be conducted in two phases. The first phase is from Thursday, June 14, 2012 to Saturday, June 16, 2012. The second phase will be held from Monday, June 18, 2012 to Wednesday, June 20, 2012. The exam will be conducted in three slots every day and you will get your scores at the end of the exam. First batch will start at 9.00 am, second batch at 1.00 pm and third at 5.00 pm. So, candidates are required to report at 8:00 am for Batch-1, 12:00 noon for Batch-2 and 4:00 pm for Batch-3. Exam Pattern: GCET exam is a computer based exam of 80 minutes. The candidates will tested on four sections English language skills, Quantitative Aptitude, Analytical Reasoning and General Knowledge. There will be 100 questions in the exam. Each correct question will have four marks and there will be negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer. The candidates will get the scores at the end of the test. The scores of GCET 2012 will be accepted by 132 B-schools in Gujarat. Some of the institutes include Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management, Bhavnagar University; Center for Management Studies, Dharmsinh Desai University; Department of Commerce and Management K.S.K.V.Kachchh University; B.K.School of Business Management, Gujarat University; Dr. .D.Y.Patil Institute of Management to name a few.
