One of the biggest aspects of marketing online is writing. You cannot market online without being able to write. Try it, I bet it doesn't work! You simply cannot get around writing while marketing. Many people do not understand all the rules of writing, and, since the English language by its very nature seems to contradict itself when it comes to writing, it is understandable why so many sales pages and e-mails have errors. Writing is an easy process if you understand some basics of the written word. First, the reason so many non-writers write terribly is because it is in our human nature to write the way we speak. For Example, a typical conversation between two people may go like this: "John, why did you do that?" "Because I felt like it!" If this is a conversation, which it is as indicated by the use of quotation marks, you can understand what happened here. The question was asked and answered, and when speaking, this is perfectly okay. However, the second part of the conversation, "Because I felt like it," is a fragment and cannot be used sentence. When errors are pointed out in writing, many people will simply say that they didn't make a writing error; they will say it's just a typo. Well, typos are writing errors because the writer was lazy and didn't take the time to proofread, revise, and edit the written work. Not revising sales copy may be the reason this online marketing venture is not paying off! I may be a little over the top, but when I see an e-mail or a sales page that has written errors, I hit delete or move to the next site. Next, you will want to understand the basic layout of paragraph writing. Every paragraph needs a topic sentence. This is the first sentence in your paragraph and it lets your reader know what information is covered in your paragraph. I like to tell my students that this is opening the door for the topic to enter the room. Then, you will want to put in some support information or maybe some examples and a few details. This is like the topic is now in the room having a conversation with you, and you are learning all about the topic. Finally, once you and the topic have finished the conversation, you will want to close the door on the topic as it leaves. This simply means writing one last sentence that signals to your reader that the paragraph has ended. Just don't use the words, The end. Once you understand the basics of the paragraph, you simply continue repeating the paragraph structure until your writing is complete (remember, one topic per paragraph). After you have finished the writing, put it away for a few hours and then go back and re-read what you have written. If you attempt to proofread moments after completing the writing sample, you will skim, and when you don't read the sample thoroughly from beginning to end, your mind will trick you into believing what you have written sounds okay. So, when you write, you must take the time to make sure you are not writing they way you speak, and, most importantly, you must take the time to proofread, revise, and edit your work. It will make your e-mails and sales pages look more professional, which, in turn, may just make you some more money! bestwritingservice rewiew
