If you are an article writer you may be aware that it is sometimes difficult to find directories that have categories for your articles. Having spend a long time writing articles for many different reasons I have first hand knowledge of how difficult it can be to publish your articles on sites that have a specific category for your work. In this article we are going to take a look at Animation articles and why you should add them to the correct category, as well as where you can add them. The first things we need to understand they reason why article directories use a tier structure and why they do not always have the tiers or sub categories you want. The reason for using a tier structure is simple, the more sub categories a directory has the better chance of ranking well in search engines for its "main" category. This follows on to the sub category as well. For example an article directory may have an "Arts and Entertainment" category, and within that category you would find a sub category for your animation articles (as animation is both a form of art, and entertainment) so it would make sense for your article to appear in both the arts and entertainment categories along with the animation category. So far so good! Now lets look at why many article directories do not have a place for your animation articles! The main reason for this is profit, you can find many other highly profitable categories in an article directory and due to the amount of moderation many people feel that they are much better off sticking to the "higher paying" categories, or the categories that provide a great deal of sellable products. For this reason it is usually not worth you spending time submitting your article to directories such as this simply because your article is not going to be viewed and appreciated even if you do manage to get it approved in another category. So where to put your articles? Well luckily as time goes by and more and more sites strive to make it big there have become a lot more "home" style article directories, these type of directories are set up by people who work on them from home usually as a hobby or form of small income, these sites will usually offer a huge choice of categories for you to submit your content to! I like the "home" directories simply because they are usually more maintained than industrial type, this usually means that the admin of that site keeps an eye on it and attempts to optimize it more simply because it is in his or hers interests to both maintain and promote your work via there site! This gives both you and the admin a win win situation! thesis
