Environmental law can also be called natural resource law. The environmental law is around the globe and tends to affect day to day life. Environmental law is a collective term that describes the network of the treaties, statutes, common, and the customary and regulation laws that address the effect of the human activity in the natural environment. The Environmental law is a type of law that is a concern with environment and protection of natural resources. It is the combination of Federal, international treaty and the State. The environmental law concerns the issues of pollution of both air, water, and soil. The environmental law regulates the number of air pollutants in the atmosphere. This is meant to protect the human health. In matters of water, the environmental law regulates the pollution in the water sources. In United State, the person who administers the environmental regulations is the Environmental Protection Agency. States in the United State have their own agencies for administering environmental rules. Environmental law is divided into pollution control and remediation conservation of the natural resources. There are several sources of environmental law that are mostly influenced by the international treaties. The treaties mostly pertain matters like the prohibition of hunting of the endangered species and reducing the greenhouse gas emission. The environmental law violators are handled in a civil way and they are entitled to a fine and to civil damages to the injured parties. There are environmental cleanup laws that regulate the removal of the contamination or the pollution from the water surface, soil and sediment. In simpler terms, environmental law has emerged as a result to respond to concerns over the issues pertaining the entire world. The environmental law has a relationship to the tax laws for the activities that tend to help from the environment.
