Remember the good ol' days when all you had was over-the-air TV, and all you had to watch was a handful of programs that were either grainy, fuzzy, or off the air? My how things have changed. It now has a fleet of 10 satellites that broadcast programs to more than 14 million subscribers in the United States. DISH Network's Service DISH Network has more than 350 channels, many of which are broadcast in high definition. These channels run the gamut of programs from TV series, movies, news, weather, and sports ... to nature series, comedy channels, cartoons, food networks, shopping channels, financial programs, and even a channel devoted to babies. They sell their programming as packages, and currently offer five packages starting with their Family package which consists of 40 family-oriented channels. Their premier package, America's Everything package, consists of 238 TV channels, 52 music channels, 60 Sirius satellite radio channels and 31 movie channels (Showtime, Starz, HBO and Cinemax). Packages start at $20 a month for their Family package. If you want your local channels, you'll need to shell out an additional $5 per month.
