Before electricity, gadgets, movies, the Internet, and other technological developments existed, people entertained themselves and others by performing plays, songs, and dances. Ancient civilizations had playwrights, actors, singers and dancers that performed live in front of audiences. The Internet has provided a form of entertainment that fit for the busy lifestyle that most people have today. Today, with video and live streaming, people do not have to worry about missing their favorite TV shows, not having enough money to catch a movie at the theater, or missing out on hearing their favorite DJs on the radio.
