If you consider yourself a movie lover, movie buff, or movie aficionado (maybe a combination of all three), you probably know quite a bit more about movies than the casual fan. That’s wild, right? But we’re talking super movie lovers who need to really be on the cusp of it all. What about movie lovers that just love movies and want to know what’s going on in their local theater? What can they expect? Are they going to be pleasantly surprised or kind of disappointed? As it turns out, today’s current movie offerings are a pretty good reflection of society. Whether the comedy is dark or lighthearted, the idea of humor is bring a sense of humanity when it sometimes feels as though there’s none to be had. Belief in Yourself — Whether you have a problem with the idea that everyone loves themselves a bit more than in the past, more characters are taking charge and seeing that they have more to offer than meets the eye. Sure, it can be a little cheesy at times, but it does strike a chord. All Ages Represented — There’s a movie for everyone, and that’s something that you were hard-pressed to find in years past. Adults and kiddos alike all have something they can watch. Moreover, there’s a lot more that they can both enjoy, and who doesn’t like a fun family night once in a while? The latest movies in theaters tend to say a lot about the world around us. Then again, this isn’t too surprising as this has usually been the case. Movies and other artistic expressions are usually a product of their time, so it’s no surprise to see more inclusivity, acceptance, tolerance, and introspection in the current crop of celluloid.
