Irrespective of whether you're in your twenties, thirties, or perhaps forties, the chances are you already want to find out how you can have younger looking skin? The great news is there's an incredibly easy solution, and results are guaranteed - you simply have to protect yourself from the devastating effects of chemical warfare. Unlike others wars, the chemical warfare we're witnessing now has nothing to do with governments. Instead, it's the cosmetics industry which is waging war on the entire human population, and their weapon of choice is a vast range of chemical concoctions. Of course these weapons aren't manufactured specifically to kill us, but rather to help us, or so we're told. There are literally millions of skin care products in circulation these days, just as there are several different cosmetic procedures one can choose from in order to look younger. Is it really fair to say that many beauty treatments are akin to chemical warfare? I personally believe it is. Let's take Botox treatments as an example. Botox, in its original and purest form happens to be the most powerful neurotoxin in the world. In fact, there are fears that the toxin could fall into the wrong hands and be used as a weapon of mass destruction, considering 4kg of it would be enough to totally wipe out the human race. When a person opts for facelift surgery, they're also exposed to several different chemicals from the moment they set foot in the clinic or in the hospital. Apart from various detergents and antibacterial soaps and scrubs, there's the anesthetic; there's medication for pain, and in many cases, there are also antibiotics. Added to this is the very real risk of something going wrong, in which case a patient can be left permanently disfigured. Chemicals peels have been popular for many years already, and to be honest, they really can leave you with younger looking skin. On the other hand, there are a number of skin care creams and lotions capable of delivering the same results and that without burning off several layers of skin. The acid used for deep peels is so strong that patients need to be sedated because of the resultant pain. Additionally, if the doctor fails to neutralize the acid at precisely the right moment, serious and irreversible disfigurement is highly likely. As an added bonus when you go for a deep peel, you'll be required to use a sunscreen lotion for the remainder of your life. Skin care creams and lotions, while not as risky as some procedures, still carry several risks, particularly if you use the wrong products. Only a small percentage of modern day skin care products are made from entirely natural ingredients, and even amongst those that are marketed as being natural, there are many which are essentially harmful for one's skin. After all, not all natural ingredients are harmless, much less beneficial to skin or health. Uranium is a natural product, yet we all know radiation kills. Botox, mentioned earlier is natural, yet 100 ‘nanograms' is enough to kill the average adult. Fragrances are another curse, since the cosmetics industry has more than 4,000 of them to play with, while scores of studies have proven many of these are extremely detrimental to a person's health. Practically all brand name creams and lotions contain fragrance, not to mention a plethora of other chemicals which are added in for a number of reasons. Chemicals are added in to act as preservatives; they're added in to serve as antibacterial agents, and they're added in for the sake of coloring and so on. What so many people fail to realize is that in order for creams and lotions to produce real results, certain ingredients need to be absorbed by the skin, and any ingredients which are absorbed, will at some stage reach the bloodstream. Would you be willing to eat your moisturizer, or perhaps your anti wrinkle cream? If it's full of chemicals, you'd more than likely become severely ill, or even worse, you'd kill yourself. No matter how desperate one is to have younger looking skin, this alone should be warning enough that such creams should never be applied to one's skin. As a general rule of thumb, if you can't safely eat your skin care products, you shouldn't be using them.
