Some people thrive on physical fitness. For them there is nothing more fulfilling than getting in a good workout on a daily basis and eating a healthy, balanced meal. But most of us aren't quite as motivated and self-disciplined as these people. Though fitness may something you consider very important, it can be difficult to stay consistent with healthy eating and working out. If this type of behavior sounds more like you than the fitness guru, here are a few tips to help you maintain a consistent workout. Making a commitment is the best way to ensure that you stay consistent with your daily exercises. That doesn't mean that you tell yourself that you will work out for a specific amount of time at a certain time every day. In order to make a lasting commitment it's best to involve someone else so that you are accountable. It can help to tell a friend or relative about your plans and check in with them every week to report your progress. This can ensure that you stay motivated. Writing down your commitment on a calendar and crossing it off upon completion can also help. Another great way to stay motivated is to work out with a trainer or workout buddy. A fitness boot camp can be a great way to kickstart your workout motivation and keep you accountable for your daily fitness. A boot camp will help train you to understand fitness safety and your own individual fitness needs. It will also help you develop the skills that will help you stay consistent for the rest of your life. Fulcrum Fitness (http://www.fulcrumfitness.com) is a boot camp Portland.
