Bormioli Rocco sponsors the annual sparkling wine event from 13 to 15 November, where over 150 Italian and French wine producers gather at the Rocca dei Rossi in San Secondo Parmense, in the province of Parma, for a truly sparkling weekend The ancient Rocca dei Rossi castle, in San Secondo Parmense, will open its doors once again for the “Bollicine... mon amour” event: three days – from Friday 13 to Monday 15 November – to taste over 150 different sparkling wines of both Italian and French origin. Originally founded to promote and support small sparkling wine producers with precise local roots and committed to using classic methods, this event has grown to the point where it also attracts big names including Veuve Clicquot, Moet et Chandon, Ferrari and many more. The setting will be the Renaissance rooms of the Rossi family’s ancient home, but the indisputable protagonists will be the 150 winemakers, who will meet and speak to visitors and answer their questions. Moving from room to room – and one wine-tasting to another – will be like making a journey that brings people into contact with different territories, climates and above all personalities, passing from the Champagne region to Franciacorta, from the Loire to Emilia Romagna, from the Alsace to the Valle D’Aosta.
