Royal jelly is a very nutritional substance filled with vitamins, proteins and amino acids. It contains vitamin B complex, and has an especially high concentration of vitamins B-5 and vitamins B-6. It is the only natural source of Acetyl-choline in its pure form. It contains a large number of minerals, vitamins A, C, D and E, 18 types of amino acids (8 essential and 10 non-essential), and other substances, because bio stimulators that it contains stimulates the creation of antibodies and leukocytes, and natural antibiotics that destroy bacteria and viruses and prevents them from multiplying in the body. Due to its ability to boost immune system and increases resistance of the organism, royal jelly is suitable for treating bronchial asthma, liver disease, and numerous skin diseases. Royal jelly affects all parts of our organism: nerves, brain (concentration, memory, learning, movement coordination), blood supply and circulation and favorably influences the cardiovascular and nervous system, mitigates the decay of nerve cells, normalizes blood pressure, slows down arthrosclerosis process, the occurrence of varicose veins, heart attacks and speeds up the healing process of already existing cardiovascular disease. Royal jelly can be used by all regardless of the age and physical and mental state, and it is especially recommended to all that are exposed to mental and physical strains and that work in extremely harsh conditions. Royal jelly is produced by nurse bees (extracting precious ingredients with their saliva glands), intended for feed nuts and larvae. These concentrated nutritional substances enables the queen bee to live more than 5 years, while the life span of a worker bee is only 2-4 months. Thanks to this concentrated food, the queen bee can lay in 24 hours somewhere between 2000 and 3000 eggs. It is interesting that total weight of laid eggs is equal to the body weight of the queen herself. Royal jelly is very difficult to preserve, when it is removed from the hive it lasts only 48 hours, if it is put in honey it can be preserved for up to 7 days, and after that main properties, that is, its bioactivity is lost, but certain properties can be preserved for up to a year. Because of all this properties of royal jelly, scientists worked for over thirty years to find a form I which the royal jelly can be preserved for more than a week. Russian academy during the beginning of the nineties managed to extract and preserve royal jelly in form of granule with a guaranteed usage period of 2 years using lyophilization.
