This numeric digit which is termed as “Pin Code” further assures you that the address is complete and accurate. It may be noted here that within each region and sub-region there are several post offices and the last three digits help to identify them very easily. The use of Pin codes in India is very essential considering the geographical extent of the country and the demographic ratios of each zone. There is a humungous volume of mails, parcels, postal deliveries and couriers that venture to reach out to the people at the earliest.
