As the name implies, this is extremely light in weight and use for balancing purposes. 3) Roll Walker: This lightweight rollator is used by patients with higher degree of physical disability in lower part of body for balancing and strength. 4) Standard: This is standard walker with no wheels. Patients having upper body strength use it as they would need to exercise the walker up while walking. Similarly, wheelchairs have different types. Generally most of them are lightweight and can be differentiated in three categories which are: 1) Rigid Lightweight Wheelchairs: These wheelchairs are light, can be folded and have push handles as well. 2) Folding Wheelchair: This lightwe ight wheelchair can be transported into car. 3) Titanium Wheelchair: These are expensive as its metal has built- in- shock capability. So, depending on the condition of a person and recommendation from medical consultant, one can choose any of the mobility aids but definitely should not quit the right to be physically independent.
