Dr. Hannah Vargas moved to Olathe, KS in 2002 to run the Vargas Facial Plastics and Midwest Rejuvenation Center. From 2003 until June of 2011, Dr. Vargas was Director of Vargas Facial Plastics before leaving to open her own practice, Vargas Face and Skin Center where she focuses on face and body contouring, skin care that includes laser treatments, scar revision, fat grafting, and other general and in-depth cosmetic procedures. Dr. Vargas uses her wide range of talent and experience to help her patients find a renewed sense of confidence while making the most subtle changes to provide the most natural looking outcome possible. Dr. Hannah Vargas began her education at the University Of Vermont College of medicine. Following her time in Vermont, the doctor moved on to San Francisco where she had been accepted into a fellowship at the University of California. Following her successful time in California, Dr. Vargas moved her training all the way across the United States to complete her residency and internship in head and neck surgery at Albany Medical Center. It was during her time spent in New York that Dr. Vargas was awarded the imminently respected Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.) for qualifying in the Arts and Science of Surgery. As of today, Dr. Vargas has earned a reputation for not just her skillful surgery technique and her innovative approach to facial plastic surgery and more, but also the esteem of her colleagues and patients both for the sincerity with which she approaches her dedication to both her patients and the art and science of plastic surgery. Patients of Dr. Vargas are some of the most satisfied in the country and attest to the fact that Dr. Vargas lives up to the motto by which her practice runs. This motto includes that belief that beyond her training and experience, having a woman’s lighter touch and understanding of her patients concerns and outcome hopes is what can truly lead to an outstanding outcome that has far exceeded patient expectations. Aside from leading many medical rejuvenation presentations in Kansas and nationwide, Dr. Vargas has been featured in magazines all across the U.S., including Women’s Edition. She has taken deeply felt stance against domestic violence and remains active with the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence and the Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. This Kansas City board certified plastic surgeon was recognized as a Kansas City Top Doctor in 2012, with previous recognition in 2007 and 2008. She has been a recipient of the AMA’s Physician Recognition Aware, is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, The American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Inc. and has contributed to many peer review journals, including her most recent article in the Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery.
