A party with lots of games for children can be the main attraction of any Halloween celebration. Candies shouldn’t be their single pleasure. On the contrary, too much sugar is not recommended for kids and the games will focus their attention to something more useful: playing in a team, following certain rules and of course, having fun. There are games that combine the fun with some creepy features for Halloween. The object of the Halloween games is to give the kids some tiny shivers, but not to scare them brutally. Above all, games should be played even by the shy and fearful ones. The “Brain Game” is one of the popular games. As a mother, you have to make a bowl of jelly and add plastic bugs, jelly worms, gum eyes and other small pieces of toys and sweets. Make the jelly a dark colour, so the kids can't see what's in it. Next step is to challenge them to find all those things into the bowl. They can keep the small toys they find and eat the rest. For the second game of the Halloween program you will need several objects children will use to touch each other. Being Halloween, we need of course things that are moist, slimy or sticky. Don’t worry, because usually these things are easy to find around. Things like spider toys, stewed spaghetti and lollypops. The object of the game is that one blindfolded child who stays in the middle of a circle, will guess the things that the others touch. The child has to try guessing what is touching their skin and every child has 4 or 5 turns at being touched and guessing the thing. Mean while, other kids will tell him fictive stories about what is touching him: a zombie hand, a bat wing or the lips of a mummy. I believe the game is more fun than is scary as long as the kids don’t really believe that weird creatures are touching them. Don’t forget to make the rules clear before starting any game, otherwise the game will be ruined by kids who feel treated unfair or even will start to cry. After a great time with various games, a scary story will be a good addition to the Halloween night. The story also could be told while the children stay in the circle blindfolded and some adults around them are making strange and creepy noises according to the story line. You can also use an audio book with scary stories, since people who tell those stories have really suitable voices for a Halloween story. And other thing that kids will enjoy is sending e cards for Halloween. At least, an hour or two spent on the computer will not do any harm. Halloween ecards are funny and some of them can even be played: making potions or hunting witches. Have a spooky Halloween with your kids! Send Halloween cards for free. It's easy to send a greeting cards!
