Looking for MLM success? The statistics seem to be against you. According to studies, anywhere from 95 to 98% of people who start an MLM business quit within the first three to six months. Some of them drop out because they were, unfortunately, pressured by well-meaning friends or relatives to join. Others drop out because they have no clue how to market - and either the company doesn't train them, or they don't bother learning the necessary skills. With more and more people losing their jobs, and struggling to find employment, however enticing residual income might sound to them they are likely to be reluctant to invest a couple thousand dollars in a business before making a single dime. Sure, you can persuade people to use their credit card to invest in a $600 distributor kit, or to beg for the initial investment from friends and relatives. But even this were a perfectly ethical way to build your business - which I would disagree with - you still would end up with many drop-outs who discover two months later that the only thing the business has brought them is more debt. So, what are you to do? You believe in MLM, believe that everyone you know deserves a shot at it. You have a few options. First, you can focus on talking to professionals, who will have money, about your company's products. Second, you can do Pay-Per-Click ads to get more people to watch your opportunity video - but right there, you get in the spot of having to pour money you may not have (keyword phrases related to home-based business are expensive!) into an ad campaign that may or may not work. Or, you may hunt around for MLM opportunities that require neither a huge upfront investment to get started, nor a large ongoing monthly expense. They are there, and typically provide a service rather than a product. Such an opportunity will not only be easier on your wallet, but easier to sell.
