How to Achieve Network Marketing Success. If you are looking for an online business, or a home based business, you have probably already come across a variety of Network Marketing , MLM's, Direct Sales and "Get Rich Quick" opportunities. As a result, you probably now have an image planted firmly in your mind as to what the industry means to you. Whether it is selling lotions and potions or having home parties selling Tupperware or explaining how this "latest" breakthrough in weight loss can help anybody on the planet. But in actual fact, some of these self-generated images could not be further from the truth. The biggest mistake people make when starting a network marketing business is "Not Treating it as a Real Business" So, you might be asking, what does it take to, not only succeed within the network marketing business, but to become a massive success? Well read on, follow my 7 top tips, and you will discover How to Achieve Network Marketing Success....without the heartache. Tip No 1. Do Your Due Diligence. It is absolutely imperative to your network marketing success, that you investigate ANY opportunity that interests you, 100%. And you can do that by following this simple question and answer format: a). How long has the Company been trading? - Anything less than 18months and I would be cautious. b). Who are the company owners and are they ethical? - As much as possible investigate the owners to find out what success they have had before, and what reputation they have within the industry. c). What is the product line, and is it in demand? - You need to be promoting to an already established marketplace with repeat business if possible. d). How do you make money? - If you make money by ONLY recruiting more distributors, I would stay WELL away. e). When and How do YOU get Paid? - How does the company pay it's distributors, is it by cheque, direct bank transfer or by some other means? How much do you earn per sale, and do you have to sell a minimum amount each week/month in order to get paid anyway? These are all questions you should find the answers to BEFORE you join your chosen Network marketing business. Tip No 2. Momentum and Timing. Very important this one, you should only align yourself with a network marketing company which is in it's growth stage. So you need to look at Momentum and Timing. Where is the Company at right now, what are it's plans for growth? Tip No 3. What Training and Support Systems are in Place? As a newbie coming into the industry, you may find yourself joining a network marketing company which has the BEST products on the planet, but if the training and business support systems are not in place for you to duplicate, then your marketing efforts will be completely wasted. (not forgetting your money) So make sure part of the due diligence process you undertake, include the verification that your chosen business has an easily duplicable marketing and recruiting process in place for you to not only follow, but for you to train your downline also. Tip No 4. Listen to Your Upline. The best way to achieve success in the network marketing industry is to find someone who is already achieving the success you desire, and copy them. Practice what they teach. You need to ALWAYS BE in "education mode". That is, you should constantly be learning and applying the techniques which are working for your upline and the top income earners within your chosen network marketing company. If the business you choose is set up correctly, then it WILL be in the interests of your upline to help you in anyway they can. So make sure your upline is approachable and fairly easy to contact, as YOU should be to YOUR downline. Tip No 5. Be The Leader. The failure of many network marketers can be attributed, in a lot of instances, to the lack of support and tuition given to their immediate downline. Most people who come into network marketing are looking for someone to "lead" them to success. So, "take up the lead" with your downline. Commit to the training and support you would want yourself. Remember that this is a long-term business, and that the whole essence of effective network marketing business building is "team work". YOU will only succeed by helping others to succeed. It's not about just bringing people into the business and moving your business forward. It's about working with these people and helping them to develop relationships, which in turn will move your business forward anyway.. Tip No 6. Keep it Personal? The internet and it's ability to quickly reach a much larger market, has opened up an incredible opportunity for savvy network marketers. With it's onset comes the chance to almost completely automate the whole recruitment process, but as a result the personal touch can go completely out of the window as well. Right now the network marketers who are utilising the internet the most effectively ALSO understand the need to stick with some of the "old" network marketing methods, such as actually talking personally to prospects. Now, whilst it can be quite a task to talk to all of your prospects, you can utilise tools such as Skype, or email marketing methods such as the use of an autoresponder. The key thing to remember here is to follow-up, and the automation tools on the internet, do provide you with a much improved and consistent way of personally following up. Tip No 7. Only Work With People Who Are Willing to Work. Do not waste your time with prospects or team members who are not willing to help themselves. Most of your time should be spent with the team members who are serious about their business, and understand that they need to put in regular consistent effort to achieve the results that they want. You will soon learn to spot the signs and help only the team members who apply the training and commit to their own success. Finally, don't quit your day job... just yet. Never leave your primary business or job until you're residual income (money coming in on a regular basis) is equal or greater than your present income.
