Neil Young tickets are now available and can be bought or sold online at StubHub.com. One of the greatest singer and songwriter’s in classic rock history, Neil Young earned his fan base through songs that spoke directly to the human heart and soul, and had such depth to them that they became more than just overnight radio single successes; they were generational anthems that still resonate years or even decades after they were first heard. Fortunately for his fans, Neil Young tickets are on sale again and are sure to go fast. Young was born in Toronto in 1945 and grew up in Winnipeg, where he developed a knack for music and performed solo and in garage bands. He made the acquaintance of Joni Mitchell and Stephen Stills while playing gigs, both of whom would later become renown in the genre of folk and protest music. Moving to Los Angeles in the mid-‘60s after struggling to establish himself in Canada, he formed the band Buffalo Springfield, which would launch him to a larger stage. Despite several highly successful records, the band’s members couldn’t get along, and Young eventually departed to go solo. He was primed to be a counter-cultural hero as the late ‘60s rolled on and the folk scene embraced both his style of playing and his poetic songwriting. In time, he would form another band, Crazy Horse, which supported him on some of his solo albums. He also joined the legendary Crosby, Still & Nash, and turned out to highly successful albums, After the Gold Rush and Harvest, in 1970 and ’71 respectively. "Heart of Gold" and "Old Man" were two of the biggest hits off Harvest, and continue to be respected, beloved and influential decades after their initial release. Throughout the ‘70s, Young would continue to expand his discography and his bulky stable of hits. In the ‘80s, his goodwill with the public and his recording companies would be stretched, as he experimented with electronic music and studio tinkering that produced mixed results. Young is still revered by many for his passionate music, is it’s well worth the price of tickets to see him live. Written by Andrew Good and sponsored by StubHub.com.
