It is since 2001 that the divorce rate, in Germany, is increasing. It has been found that most of the couples separated in the year 2010 are possessing a child. Now, whenever parents are separating, the sufferers are the children. Now, children always sets a picture of an ideal family, in their mind. Their world includes both the parents and other family members. They cannot think of living without one parent. Now, whenever it is about parental separation, they feel uncertain about the future. The news of separation breaks all the images of an ideal family they drew. A sense of loss and separation pain, start working in them, which brings a behavioral changes in the child. They become disobedient and unruly. Through their unmanageable attitude they tries to seek attention from others. Thus, you need to handle this situation with calmness and patience. When you are about to break the news of your divorce to your kids, you need to keep some of the important things in mind, so that, you can easily handle your child. Managing children, in this critical situation, is quite tricky, but if, you try you can help them to adjust themselves to the new situation. The first and foremost thing is the reassurance. It is very much necessary for a child. Reassurance in the sense that you have to convince your children that both the parents love them. You have to ensure them you are separating because you are having some problem with the other parent, but none of the parents would stop loving them. These reassurance you have to give. Your involvement in the life of the child is very needful. Whether it is school activities or other activities, you must help them to do the task in a correct way. If, your child is doing the task in a correct way, then praise them. Encourage them to perform well. Love your child, show affection to them and hug them, if needed. All these are very necessary for a child to feel that parents love them. Added to this, they feel that parents are involved in their life, which will feel them secure. Believe it or not, regular interaction with the child is very much important. As a loving and caring parent, you must communicate with your child everyday. You may not understand, whether your child is having some queries, if you do not communicate with them. Sometimes, children are scared of asking any question to the parent with the thought of getting a scolding from their parent. So, be friendly to your child and interact with them in a friendly manner. Let them speak out the questions, which are making them depressed. By, speaking with them, clear all their doubts. Apart from all these, you need to spend adequate amount of time with your child. No matter how much busy you are, you must be able to find out time from your daily busy routine.
