From the 23th to the 25th of October, the hotel hosted Creativamenti, the meeting dedicated to the creative teaching. Among meetings and conferences also the program "Eastern Vapours", an interesting didactic experience which took place in the wellness center of the resort. The Astro Congress Center gave hospitality to "Creativamenti", the fourth national meeting on the creative learning and teaching which took place in Tabiano Bagni (Pr) from the 23th to the 25th of October. Three days of seminars and workshops organized by Creativ Group of Reggio Emilia for teachers and educators. In particular, on Friday 23, after "In relation with.. ", a laboratory dedicated to the awareness of the self and the other, the doors of the Beauty Farm Alhambra, the wellness center part of Grand Hotel Terme Astro, opened up. And here, in fact, the "Eastern Vapours" programme started. In the Tepidarium music and a cup of green or mint tea helped the guests to get used to the temperature of 35-40 grades centigrade and to relax. According to the Moroccan tradition, the body is covered with the black soup, a special paste of olives and mineral salts which eliminates impurities and toxins. After the savonnage it is time for Calidarium, where the aromatherapic vapours help to get in touch with the self, open out and leave behind the stress of frenzied rhythms. Running a special mitt on the body, the skin becomes smoothy and silky: ready to plunge in the Frigidarium, a spa tub with a temperature of 28-30 grades centigrade. In the end, lying on confortable chaise lounges it is time to enjoy peace and quietness with herbal teas and pastries. Highlight of the convention has been the national meeting "Methods matters: the Creative Learning Method among disciplinary knowledge and social relations", which presented the observations and experiences realized in the classes by the teachers involved in the project. Easy to reach, in a quiet location and with 11 meeting rooms with a capacity ranging from 20 places up to a maximum of 800, the conference hotel is provided with the ideal spaces and equipments for meetings, team building sessions and fairs. Besides the conference rooms, the four star resort is provided with 115 rooms and an efficient restaurant service. The chefs of the restaurant delle Calle, in fact, will prepare lunches, gala dinners, coffe breaks, working breakfasts and aperitifs.
