This would suggest that version is simply provided in order to offer an alternative to your existing models. But this does not mean that this doesn't lack in features. The screen not surprisingly, is much bigger on this version. at 3. 7 inches width, the TFT capacitive touchscreen dominates leading of the handset, giving an exceptionally different appearance than its predecessors. The screen carries a resolution of 480x 800, which is on par with handsets like the HTC Desire HS together with Samsung Galaxy S2. The touchscreen element is usually of course provided as a technique of navigating the BB OS IN THIS HANDSET 7 interface, but there's also an optical trackpad provided as an alternative.
Camera
The camera over the Blackberry Torch 9860 is related to that found on additional Torch models. At 5 megapixels, it is certainly capable of producing pleasing still images, which are generally enhanced further by autofocus, graphic stabilisation and face detection. If you wish to use the camera for shooting video footage, you can choose from settings of up to 720p high definition. The main disadvantage about this camera is that there is no flash, but until you frequently use your phone to take photos, this shouldn't prove to be too much of an issue.
Web Surfing
Like its previous Torch counterparts and other RIM devices, the Blackberry Torch 9860 is particularly suited to internet surfing. Thanks to fast download speeds of up to 14. 4 Mbps, and Wi-Fi connectivity, users investigate internet, stream YouTube videos and send emails with ease. The handset comes with an impressive default web browsing application, which has features such as multi-tabbed browsing and forward and back shortcuts.
Obviously there is a lot more to this Blackberry Torch 9860 as compared to what I have outlined in this post, but as you are able to see it is similar in lots of respects to the past Torch versions, with the main difference being the issue of a slide out keys.
Keyboard
As you may be aware, many Blackberry models come with a physical Qwerty keyboard, and the Bold 9780 is virtually no exception. If you really are a frequent email or TXT user, this handset probably will fit the bill. The keyboard provides a convenient means of keying text quickly, and lends itself to business use, and often also use it to help edit MS Word documents of your phone.
Memory
The Blackberry Bold 9780 are useful to store various files straight straight from the box thanks to its 256 MB of storage and an included 2 GB micro Sdcard. However, if you intend to use the phone with regard to storing music files, MICROSOFT Office documents, photos and videos, you will probably want to consider installing a larger Sdcard, and this handset can support a card with a capacity of up to 32 GB, with other variants for sale in 4 GB, 8 GB together with 16 GB. At 5 megapixels, the resulting still images are of top quality, and thanks to your pixel resolution of 2592x 1944, levels of detail, quality and colour rendering are very good. To make things easier, there is an autofocus feature included as well as an LED flash.
Internet
Blackberry devices have a reputation as being superior internet browsing phones. The Blackberry Bold 9780 is no exception, as it supplies internet connectivity via each of those HSDPA and Wi-Fi.
