In a once only treat for Wollongong audiences, he will perform a selection of his favourite Australian poems from the classic writers A.B (Banjo) Paterson, Henry Lawson and CJ Dennis in a live performance at the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre, Saturday March 31 at 2.00pm. What a voice! The voice of Jack Thompson is recognised and loved Australia wide. In the show, Jack will perform The Man From Snowy River, The Ballad of the Drover, The Geebung Polo Club, Tumba-Bloody-Rumba, Said Hanrahan and Clancy of the Overflow amongst other well known favourites. It’s a chance to hear Australia’s most loved actor read Australia’s most loved poems.
