Pakistan is located in Asia bordered by Indian Ocean and said to be one of the most Ideal geographically located country. Pakistan consists of four provinces Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa speaking their respective languages and national language is Urdu. Pakistan has a much enriched culture and Pakistani girls are usually brought up according to the culture, norms and traditions. Different areas of all provinces are still rural and some of them are urban. The lifestyle in urban areas is quite different if we compare it with the rural areas. Rural areas are still under-developed and way backward from the urban areas in every context. Urban areas are augmented with amenities such as developed infrastructure, hoteling, travelling etc. Pakistani girls dress up according to their family lifestyle and social influence. If we talk about the girls in Baluchistan then they have a unique and traditional way of living in which they dress up in a very unique manner and is according to the norms and traditions. They have very distinctive clothing apparels if wore in any part of the urban area will be considered as extreme backward and out of trend. Similarly, these girls are distinctive in features and in talking as compared to the girls in other provinces. So, similarly in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa the traditions are the same but in the case of Punjab it is a bit unique and trendy. Lot of cities of Punjab has groomed well and Islamabad the capital city of Pakistan is also located in Punjab. Lahore is the most famous city of Pakistan, in which you can see a lot of Pakistani girls dress up in different ways. The modern and trendy girls usually wear jeans and other apparels according to the social trends whereas some girls are simple wearing the basic dress code which is Shalwar Kameez. No doubt these Pakistani Girls look wondrous if dressed up in common fashion and some look awful if they try to move along with the societal approach. Bringing and involving western culture in Pakistan is not the part of the game because Pakistan is a Muslim country and follows all the Muslim rules and regulations. That doesn’t mean that Pakistani girls abide by and breach some rules but with the Islamic point of view these kinds of dressing are strictly prohibited. Considering this for a fact Pakistani girls have now taken a drastic change which is the literacy rate among only the girls population is increasing. In older times families rather wasn’t that much in favor of letting their daughters go to schools, colleges and universities but this current era we can see the girls are equally participating in literacy rate of Pakistan. Lots of school, colleges and universities are particularly opened for the education of these girls and the reason behind is just with the change in time people are getting awareness that education is somewhat important both for boys as well as girls. Pakistani girls have also started to contribute in sports and different fields such as education, employment etc. The article is written by Mr. Devin Dennis.
