Array Networks has announced the availability of its new aCelera WAN optimization controller product line which comprises of both virtual and hardware appliances for cloud and virtualized environments. Michael Zhao, President and CEO of Array Networks said, "We are excited to offer our customers another solution to assist them in solving their application delivery networking challenges. Array's new aCelera product line aligns perfectly with our focus on cloud and mobility and complements our APV Series ADCs for cost-effectively improving the efficiency of data transferred across networks and providing a seamless end-user experience." For cloud and virtualized environments, Array aCelera is available for Windows Server, VMware ESX/ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V and Citrix XenServer along with the availability on Array's WanVelocity hardware. For individual users, Array Networks has made aCelera available as a software package for Windows XP and Windows 7 machines, enabling acceleration in conjunction with aCelera virtual appliances or hardware in the corporate data center or on the cloud provider network. In addition to broadening Array's application delivery networking product portfolio, Array Networks aims to strengthen its focus on ADC, cloud and mobility. Applications are expected to run faster leveraging the benefits of data center and WAN acceleration. aCelera WAN optimization controller software for Windows machines and aCelera management software are now available in the market.
