Way back in 2007 Google introduced a new Meta tag "unavailable_after" for making de-index non usable documents present on the web. Its one of the major problem that search engines is having: i.e. having too many unused documents online. There are numerous offers or documents which have been expired but still indexed and present online. So in 2007 Google introduced "unavailable_after" Meta tag where you can give a particular date to tell the search engines not to index that document after that certain period. It’s a new Meta tag provided by Google and can be included in HEAD section to tell the search engines that particular document or page will not present from a particular date or say by tomorrow. The search engine will stop indexing and presenting that page from tomorrow on the search engines. So you can easily put "unavailable_after" Meta tag and tell the search engines that the offer will not be available from certain date. Search engines will stop indexing those product pages and remove them from search results from the particular date you mentioned. Either you want some of your free articles to be in your paid section. So you can easily put "unavailable_after" tag to get removed the free article as it will be available in your paid category section. Or also you want some of your site pages to be available for certain period of time so you can easily use "unavailable_after" tag to see the desired results.
