I totally enjoyed the sleepover I had with my favorite group of girl friends last weekend as we spent hours and hours talking about every topic we could think of and, of course, every hunky man we could name and fantasize about. It was so much fun screaming, laughing and throwing pillows at each other as we shared anecdotes and tidbits about our various encounters with different people. It's the type of girl bonding I really miss from my college days. First, the topic was merely on looking good and feeling good about being a woman, making the most of our gifted female charm, and then the subject drifted to the more serious discussion of gender equality. It was a healthy debate as we exchanged thoughts on women's rights. The topic got lighter again after one of the girls commented on how it's unfair that some men harass women or make sleazy remarks and then blame it on women for dressing seductively. We girls all agreed that women should have the right to feel good about their body and be free to flaunt their physical assets without fear of having to deal sexual harassment or enduring rude sexist remarks from some men whose mentality still thrive in the stone age. We all agreed that women should be free to dress and look as they please. One of the girls commented that she takes pleasure in looking as female and as womanly as she wants. She said she's proud to be every inch a woman, and she loves dressing up and complementing her figure with the best lingerie she could find.
