4 Powerful Tips About Communicating with your Outsource Resource

The world of outsourcing has been around for a long time. Yet for many in Internet marketing, this is a new concept. Many see the powerful positive impact using a contractor can have on their business. They recognize that a highly skilled and knowledgeable expert can create products and services well beyond their own capability. They see that using outsourcing can mean Internet marketing success will soon be theirs. Yet there are some very critical basic requirements to achieve the best outcome when using outsourcing. One of those is communication. In this article I present 4 powerful tips about communicating with your outsource resource.

Tip #1) Maintain frequent ongoing two-way communication with all of your contractors. While you may feel there just aren’t enough hours in the day to handle everything, it doesn’t take much time to handle this chore. Start by requesting brief daily updates from your contractors. The updates can be a brief as what they are working on, progress they’ve made, and status against the planned delivery date. If they are having problems or need help from you, that should also be included. On your end, be sure to acknowledge the update and provide any requested data or information immediately.

Tip #2) Be very exact in your requests and your feedback. Ultimately your Internet marketing success depends on the work of your contractors. Do everything possible to help them. Make it easy to receive exactly the final product you seek by providing precise, detailed information regarding the deliverable that is expected. Don’t use fancy language or vague statements. This is a time to communicate clearly and in words that will be easily understood by your outsource resource.

Tip #3) Always be polite and businesslike in your communications. As in all business dealings, maintaining a positive tone in your emails will go much further than tearing the work completed by a resource apart or failing to acknowledge a job well done. Most contractors are just waiting for your feedback and acknowledgement. They will gain renewed excitement about the project from a professional sounding message that includes even a little positive feedback.

Tip #4) Be direct, specific and quick to provide feedback and direction regarding problems with the project or products provided by your outsource resource. Always stay constructive if there is a problem. Be sure to clearly highlight the parts of a project that meet your needs while also clearly communicating where there are some shortcomings. Remember; your internet marketing success hangs in the balance. Be sure you’ve done your part to make it a reality.
