Samsung F250 is a slider touch phone and have been made compatible with popular GSM frequencies (900/1800 and 1900). In terms of weight, the F250 easily wins over others with weight of just 96g which looks fantastic seeing its having been jacked up with numerous eye catching specifications. Showcasing the TFT touchscreen of size 2.0 inches, the gadget presents a beautiful display at resolution of 128x160 pixels.
And, well, one should not get surprised by listening that the screen has the horde of colors encompassing up to 65 K colors. Most of us know that built in camera is a bare necessity for any mid-sized handset in order to grab attention of buyers and thus for not letting F250 to kneel down before its competitors, though of small power, a 1.3 MP camera has beautifully been fixed at the upper right corner of its back.
20 MB internal memory surely has become one of the negative aspect of it as 20 MB space is not quite enough for any average handset users especially in view that a song of average length also demands quite good spacing. MicroSD card slot (TransFlash) though has provided some relief and with the support of it, one can stretch the existing memory with amount ranging up to 2 GB, which most of us should be happy with.
In comparison to other phones which can keep usually up to unlimited number of entries, Samsung F250 is not that fortunate and prides with its capacity of being able to keep up to 1000 entries and offering users the much needed ease with photocall function, in case one has become tired of saying “Wrong Number”. The phone is a truly Java enabled device (MIDP 2.0), and along with that provides the dosages of fun with built in music player, picture editing and built in FM etc.
With the gimmick, it is not that hard to go for extensive messaging as the the phone displays a popular trio of messaging options: SMS,MMS and Email. The thrills of accessing internet at rapid fast speed is missing but coupled with GPRS (general pocket radio service), the built in HTML browser meets the Internet requirements amicably.
In order to make it a complete Entertainment whiz, FM radio also joins in the long list of features/specifications, the phone is bundled with. But, the lack of updated features concerning FM radio such as FM transmitter, Visual radio could be termed as the missing jewels.
The overall ambit of entertainment functions gets another member in form of Games and in addition of pre-loaded ones, the gimmick very easily enables users to download their favorite games (if meet all the requirements) also. Color options for this handset are also numerous and include common ones to aesthetic looking colors as well such as Caramel Orange, Ice Blue, Metallic Green etc.
And, targeting amateur touch phone users, the handset has been devoid of high end specifications such as GPS, Wi-Fi, Full Qwerty keyboard etc.
The size of Samsung F250 easily let the gimmick lie in average sized handsets with length, breath and width respectively standing out at 94 mm, 46 mm and 17.5 mm.
