Structure, spelling and content are just some of the important things to examine in your article writing. After all, no reader will become interested when the article is not exactly reader friendly. The writer has the responsibility to produce an article that is captivating enough for the reader. There are no exceptions to this requirement. Fortunately your article can be divided into parts. Dividing your article writing this way serves two functions. First; a well grouped and organized article is easy to read. Second; this also makes it easier for the article writer to supply more facts and to develop ideas more clearly. Read on as I cover the key components of an article. Headline The headline is the title of the article. If writing a search engine optimized article, it must contain the keyword in it. The title must also be catchy enough to grab the attention of the reader at first glance. It is the title that will be the face of the piece you are writing. It must contain a brief idea of what the article is all about. For example, “5 Ways to _________” or “How to ____________.” Article Summary Though headlines give the reader an idea on what the article is about, an article summary will give a more detailed description compared to what the headline can provide. An article summary can also be the first paragraph of the article. Ideally, article summaries can be written in 40-60 words. To make it more searchable, be sure to include the keywords in the first 40 words of the summary. Statement of Idea Before elaborating through the article body, there must be a preparatory statement giving the main ideas or points that will be discussed later on. Body The body is the heart of the article. It contains the details and information that readers are looking for. This is the most important part of the piece. It is necessary that the points be clear and well-developed as the writer elaborates each. Clarity and conciseness is the key. Conclusion After a thorough discussion, there is a need to reiterate the points covered in the conclusion. This will help to provide a better understanding of your key messages for your readers. It reinforces the ideas given by the writer in the body of the article. Dividing your article writing into these parts is a lot easier for the article writer. It also makes the article a lot more organized and comprehensive for your readers. Following this process in your web content writing will help place the article higher in web page rankings since you incorporate keywords in each part. To your success as an article writer!
