Many wineries in this area have been around for several decades and these are excellent places to learn more about this beloved drink. You will be welcomed by the hosts, who will offer you local cheeses, nuts and other fruits, which you can munch on, as you walk around. After the tour is over, you get to sample some of the best wines. These days, wineries also have shops, right outside, where you can purchase one or several bottles of your favourite wine.
