The best way to explore any country is by simply driving around it and soaking in the scenery. With Brisbane car rental, it is very easy to drive up and down the gorgeous coastal roads and stop on the way to take some incredible photos. This is also one of the best places to come to, when you want to have that fun family picnic or just lie under the night sky, looking at the stars. If you have a car rental from Brisbane airport, there are simply so many places you can drive to, that you actually might get a little confused. However, there are certain places that you should really consider, as these are the kind of places, you would not come across on a daily basis. Drive a while out of Brisbane and you will reach Boonah, which can be best described as a picture perfect village. Drive your Brisbane car hire to places such as Lockyer Valley or the Valley of the Lakes, which are ideal settings for you to just sit back and relax. These are places, where you will get to enjoy the true beauty of nature, while you sit and sip a glass of wine or savour the flavours of the freshest produce. If you are travelling with your family that includes kids, you will need to go someplace, where they will enjoy themselves and let you have a little time on your own as well. For such getaways, you might want to consider places such as the nature parks in the area. These are places where you and your children will get a firsthand experience of the native flora and fauna. For an up close and personal experience with the local species of animals, you might want to visit the famous Australia Zoo, where the legacy of the legendary “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin lives on. The semi-rural areas surrounding Brisbane are also home to some of the best local markets, which often prove to be treasure troves for gifts that can be taken back home. You can find farmers selling fruits and vegetables that would have been plucked early that very morning. Several stalls will offer you a taste of jams, jellies, preserves, pickles and marmalades made from the freshest fruits of the area. For the connoisseurs, there is a pick of cheeses and fine wines, which can be taken home. This is also the playground for local artists, who display their art here and often put the same up for sale.
