You can still see remains of WWII gun emplacements and those of a maximum-security prison at St. Helena Island. On the nearby Fraser Island, guests are treated to sights of a beached wreck ship named Maheno. Even nature lovers have something to enjoy, because Witches Falls, inside the Tamborine National Park is a great place to spend some time. This is also the first national park in Queensland, having been established in the year 1908.
